The government of Uttar Pradesh announced the new Excise scheme. According to the new rule if you want to store the liquor at your home more than the permitted limit i.e 1.5 litre you have to take the license from the excise department by paying ₹12000 and deposit the security amount of ₹ 51000.
Legal action will be taken if anybody is found guilty of storing the access amount of liquor at home. The person who is filing the Income-tax return for 5 years will be liable to apply for the license. They have to submit the ITR receipt along with a copy of the Pan card and Aadhar card.
The applicant will submit an affidavit as well in which a person from 21 years below will not be allowed to enter the place where the liquor will store. The unauthorized liquor can not be kept along with the stock.
As per the new scheme, the license of the Desi, Imported, Beer, or wine shops will be renewed. The government increased the license fee by 7.5% for all model and retail shops.
